Rave Reviews!!!

The reviews are out and they’re glowing!  Check out the Media page to read the rave review featured in Time Off Magazine which hailed “Cinderella” as “a masterwork”.

A huge thanks to Emma Dean for the opportunity to support her last Friday on Australia Day at the Troubadour for the christening of her latest EP “Face Painter”.  It was a night of great music all round and a fantastic way to see out the public holiday.  Thanks to everyone who came along, especially those who were still hung over from Thursday night celebrations.

For those of you who were enjoying the holiday at home with a barbie and some beers, you’ll have another opportunity to see Emma and I perform together at the Bonefinger Records Beatles Tribute Night being held at the Troubadour on the 10th Feb.  It’ll be a great night of music and a beautiful stroll down memory lane featuring great local artists such as Tyrone Noonan, Tara Simmons and Hot Liquid Sex, just to mention a few.  Oh, and all funds raised go to “Doctors Without Borders”.

Great Gigs!

It's been an exciting year for me with the release of the album and the fantastic response that I've had from all of you, and we've finished the year off with two fantastic gigs. Guitarist Dave McGuire and I had a great time at the Powerhouse on Friday 17th November for 612's live to air broadcast. What a crowd!!! The monthly broadcast takes a break over December but returns next year, and rumour has it you'll be seeing us again too. A huge thanks to Steve Austin,the beautiful Sinead and everyone from 612 ABC for looking after us. Looking forward to doing it again in the new year.

Thanks to all of you who came out to The Alley on Saturday night to see me support the divine Serena Ryder. It was an intimate affair with Dave McGuire on guitar and Steve Newcomb on hammond organ and piano, which brought an incredible warmth and intensity to the music, not to mention the fact that it was heaps of fun.

Good news on the radio front!  “Cinderella Sings the Blues” was featured this week by Steve Austin on 612 ABC.
